To our Visitors...
Welcome! Each year a number of university students, as well as parish groups visit Guaimaca to offer their time and talent in the work of the mission. The groups stay for a week and volunteer in the various aspects of the Mission, according to their skills and desires. Not all visitors are doctors and nurses!
The most important skill required of all visitors to the Mission is the ability to show compassion to those whom you will encounter. Beyond that, whatever service a person can offer to the Mission is gratefully received! Some come to paint, others to separate medicines, others to visit the sick.
The document links on this page can provide information that may be helpful if you are considering a visit to the Mission. Feel free to check out the contacts page and send an email to one of the members of the Mission Team. Also, Mrs. Pam Potenza and Janet Kirsch serve as coordinators for the volunteer groups. They are willing to meet with a group and explain each step of the process in planning a visit to the mission in Honduras.
